  1. Hi Ellen,
These photos look really good for part 2 and I think you did a very good job, not leaving me much to critique here.
For photo 1, I really like the way the branches in the background are placed in the frame, as it kind of guides your eyes towards the middle where the center of focus is. small objects can be hard to focus on so i think this is an impressive photo.
photo 2, I know we were supposed to do around f4.0 or less which is what you did, but i think a slightly higher aperture so that the back yellow leaves were slightly less blurry could improve the photo a little bit, but in terms of this project it looks good. the kitty in the background is a nice touch i like how you can't tell what it is in the first photo but you can in the second.
I think in the third photo the white thing behind the flowers is kind of distracting but you had to shoot the same photo twice so not much you could do about that. Overall i really like these photos because the color of the flowers contrasting with the darkness of everything else makes it look really cool

  2. Hello, Ellen
I think you did a really good job on your part 2 photos. Your first photo is very interesting i like how simple the image is, I also think it is a little dark I think using a lower ISO would help make it better since the background is washing out the object you are trying to focus on. For you second images I think the F-stop should be a little lower if possible and a higher appiture the flowers seem a little blurry even when they are supposed to be in focus.
For the third image i like the best due to the cat, but it is still very blurry compaired to how focused it could be. I think the aperture needs to be raised on this photo as well.
